Bella Bella

We headed north to Bella Bella, to shoot some of its beautiful surroundings and tell the stories of the First Nations Heiltsuk people who have lived there for as long as anyone can remember. The Marine Guardian Watchmen of the community, Jordan and Wally, took us with them on their boat and showed us what an ordinary workday looks like for a guardian. We’re happy to have experienced this place from the local’s point of view, meeting so many interesting and kind people and shooting in the midst of the stunning Great Bear Rainforest.
